Who designed these? new click July 19, 2008 J. Kirk (London, England) I find it quite amazing that none of the previous reviewers cared to comment on the ridiculous... what would usually be a head strap, but in the case of the HS600 is a giant, unadjustable plastic ring that only makes contact with your head through a cheap piece of foam glued to the top. Literally, there are 3 inches of air between the side of your head and the plastic. I've never seen a pair of headphones that could make anybody look like an absolute idiot, so naturally avoid them like the plague if you have a webcam. It's no wonder the product shot is form the side, if it was head-on, you'd have some idea of how stupid it looks. Also, I've been wearing it 10 minutes and my ears are already starting to irritate. I gave it 2 stars because there doesn't seem to be a problem with the recording or sound quality; if only it had been designed to be worn by a human head, perhaps there'd be no problem.
Nice but didnt last long December 25, 2007 Benjamin T. Cheshire (England) Well there a nice pair of headphones, Really comfortable , good sound quality, good mic quality, the big thing thats at fault with them is they dont last very long. ive had 2 pairs of these and they both broke at about 4months of use. My last pair i picked up and the ear fell off ^^ . Maybe it was just my luck, otherwise there a nice pair of headphones. But if you want better quality spend a little more.
Free Skypeout minutes December 9, 2007 Mrs. Theresa Jackson (UK) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Good headset but don't be swayed with the free skype out minutes, you have to jump through hoops to get them, it's not just a case of typing in the voucher code, you have to contact the customer service department who then require a scanned copy of the voucher, the website you are trying to redeem them on and then a screenshot of the amazon order, I've been through 3 frustrating emails so far and I'm still not there yet!
Very solid product June 21, 2007 mikespoff (Cape Town, South Africa) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bought a pair of these because I needed a microphone built in, and they're a solid headset. Great microphone, great sound. They're also pretty comfortable for a couple of hours - I find that after about the second hour I start to notice them pressing onto my ears a bit, and I would prefer it if the size adjustment was a bit more effective. If you have a big head, you might find them a bit tight. If you're looking for something with amazing sound quality and need to wear it for several hours at a time, I'd recommend the Creative HQ-1300s instead - they don't have a mic, but you can get a desktop one, and the comfort of that set is unparalleled. If you need a built-in mic and only use them for an hour or two at a time, this is an excellent alternative.
