Having just received this headset, with the intention of using it for skype, I have discovered that microphone levels have to be set to maximum and even then the level is barely loud enough.
I have tested it on my Vista pc, my vista laptop and my old XP pc, same problem with all.
I rang the Plantronics helpline and was told they only use XP computers and were therefore unable to advise on Vista?!? Even though you are now unable to purchase an XP due to the Vista experiment.
Their advise was to return it to them for a replacement.
