I'm very pleased with this webcam. It fits perfectly on top of my laptop (but can be used with any other type of monitor too), it was very simple and easy to install the software for it and the quality of picture is great. I had the webcam working in about 10 minutes, its so easy to set up. I found that the auto settings for the webcam weren't set to what I felt resulted in a perfect picture quality but after fiddling around with the settings I corrected this and the picture quality is great now. It's clear, and not at all grainy or fuzzy and it doesn't drag as much as other webcams. Clearly it's going to be a bit clearer in full, bright day light then it will be at night, as is the case with any webcam, but even with artifical lights at night the picture quality is still great, although you may want to adjust the settings slightly if you don't have enough lights in the room. The camera itself is nice looking and seems very durable. I wanted this webcam to use specifically with Skype and it works very well with it. I should mention that I'm not crazy about the headset that comes with it because it's very fiddly and uncomfortable to use and not of especially good quality but I think it's just included in the box as a bonus and it's still better then nothing if you haven't got a headset. However, as I already had a mic and headphones set I didn't buy the webcam for these so it didn't matter to me. Even with the less than perfect headset, this webcam is very good value for money and I'd recommend it to any looking at purchasing one. I'm very happy with it.

the cam is easy to setup and the installation instructions are easy, I especially like the stand for it. However, the real reason it got 2 stars from me is the fact that the picture quality is really quite poor, and the mic is terrible. I wouldn't recommend it, so I'm having to shop for a different one.

The webcam is very easy to set up and it was up and running within 15mins, maybe even less! Just put in the CD install the programme and then plug the webcam in, and away you go!
The webcam seems to work best with natural light; it runs smoother and takes good quality pictures and video. In artificial light the quality isn't as good, but still fair, and the video tends to not run as smooth. This is what I found with my model, not sure if it's the same with all the other models.
The microphone is one of the main reasons for the drop of the star, it's very hard to attach and falls of quite a lot, and the recording of sound is very poor. I already had another microphone which is quite good and cost me about 10 and it works fine along side this webcam.
All in all it is a good product only a few minor probs. But well worth the 15!
I have never had a webcam before, and I would highly recommend this product to a 1st time user!

I bought this webcam to replace an earlier logitech webcam. The camera is just the same as the older model ( 8.99 on amazon)but has a flexible stand that can be used on your desktop or perched on a laptop/ flatscreen monitor. The main disappointment with this purchase is the earpiece/ microphone, which is really cheap and falls out of your ear all the time. Worst of all, the sound quality and level made it unusable for skype.

The best webcam i have ever bought and i have purchased some that cost 50 before and none were this good in my opinion.
For strters its a great size, not too small but not too large and the available colour really does look good. I dropped it the other day on a wooden floor from about 5 foot high expecting it to shatter. Not a single mark not even a scratch. The flexible clip is fantastic i was a bit woried that it wouldn't fit on my computer screen because it is flat screen but pokes out a bit at the back but the flexible fastened right round it. And if your computer is not flat screen there is no worrin as the clip can fold flat to put of a flat surface. Despite some contreversion i believe the picture quality is great. You can adjust the focus easily to make a perfect picture no matter what size it is. The lead is very long so it will easily reach to any USB port and fits in well ontop of your computer.
I gave this webcam 5 stars for one reason; It is perfect absolutely flwless and for a very cheap price aswell.
