Very capable laser all-in-one at a very reasonable price. February 16, 2008 Mr. Maurice Stewart (Northern Ireland) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The canon MF 3220 Laser All-in-One provides you with fast printing and quick access from start-up. It is also very versatile as a copier and scanner. The only complaint I have with it is the lack of clear guidance in the literature and software regarding initial set up. There are three large Starter Guide books in the box but don't be fooled; only a short section at the beginning of one of them is relevant for English speakers! Then after a 'voyage of discovery' you realise that the English language User Manual is included in the 'User Software' CD, despite a separate 'Multi-lingual User Manual' CD being included. All very confusing, but when you get going soon forgotten! PS.The driver software included in the set-up CD does not cover Windows Vista and needs to be downloaded from the canon website.

I've had this MF3220 all-in-1 for a week now, upgraded from a InkJet printer and WOW!!!! this is so much better, quick, quiet and good quality. I am not planning to give it Laboratory stytle tests, just using it for my home office and it works very well and you can feed envelopes cards and other stuff into the front slot and take it out the back so the media does not have to go round tight bends. I don't think the big open paper outlet space below the control panel looks very nice, it's a lot bigger than it needs to be. Had a paper size error which after quite a bit of hassle I found to be that I was trying to Print a Legal size document on A4 paper so can't really blame the MF3220 for that. If you want a fax facility get the MF3240 model.
