Excellent slim, ideal for scanning 2-3 pages iregularly November 26, 2007 D. Vora (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The unit is a bit slow for scanning loads of pages, ideal if you only intend to scan a few pages a day, heavy use takes time for it to process data. Apart from that quality, price, size its all perfect. :)Definitely recommended
It's very neat, very tidy, very high quality November 8, 2007 paulyb (Middlesex, UK) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
It feels a tad better made than the Lide90, and on paper is a faster colour photo and document scanner than the Lide 90, I can't work that one out. It currently sits on top of my Canon Pixma 4200 printer without obstructing the sheet feeder, and combined, they take less space than the all-in-one I use in the office, seems daft, and powered via the USB, that's genius.
A little slow !!! September 25, 2007 Reub (UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I know....I've give it 5 stars,it's only a LITTLE slow but the end result is superb, takes it power from the computer so less wires to hide.Very easy to set up and use,the price, and the quality of the copying it's worth the 5 stars......
Solid and reliable; easy to install and use July 24, 2007 S. Hill (Durham, England) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
In my experience, a scanner works or it doesn't. Speed is the second consideration. The sw which comes with this item works well. It is easy to install and works faultlessly thereafter. The scanner is no faster than the one I had (10 years) before. It's reasonably fast but that's it. I don't know if this is as fast as any: I suspect it is. However, it needs no external power. The results are fine.
Caution Vista Users July 22, 2007 Mr. John Mason (Cardiff UK) 13 out of 24 found this review helpful
No drivers are available for Vista x64 and, according to Canon "nothing is currently planned for 64bit operating systems".
