Just bought this product as it seemed the best on the market as it could be recharged and looked pretty portable. However, heed the words of the review above, you do need a special charger for it to work. My computer has no firewire connection, and neither did I receive an ipod charger that uses a firewire connection. Unlike the suggestion above that the wall chargers are easy to find, every one i've looked at so far uses a USB connection. Simply put, i've bought a useless ipod charger, and now i'm going to send it back.

I bought this battery a week ago and it is great. It fits snuggly onto the back of the ipod with a rubber case(3 cases to choose from which are all provided) and is the slimmest one on the market. The battery extends the ipods battery life up to 8-9 hours. To charge the battery you do need the ipod power brick as this is not provided but they are easy to pick up from any online shop. Overall I rate this item a must have essential for all ipod fanatics as this is the best back up battery about.
