Poor product June 2, 2008 T. Lovatt The microphone simply doesn't work. It's meant to be a 'noise cancelling' design but it's more of a sound cancelling design. I could only get it to register any input by blowing hard into it; it didn't pick up anything at all when speaking at a normal level. This has been recorded in other reviews of this product so please fix the microphone Creative. Creative products are normally good. I own their Gigaworks T-40 speakers which are great. These aren't. Don't buy them.
Very disappointing from Creative October 4, 2007 Duncan Clarke (Staffordshire, UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this item only this week, and already found its 3 main flaws; - Firstly, the headphones are uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. I've just got into playing WoW, and after a couple of battlegrounds (30 mins or so) I'm glad to take them off. The hard plastic band that goes above/behind the ears becomes painful. Also, they don't sit flat on my ears, leaving a gap at the front. As they have no adjustability in the design, there's not a lot I can do to improve this either. - The second problem is the appauling microphone. I have tried it on both sides, and even direct into the mic socket on my PC. It produces masses of noise, but picks up very little actual signal. Nowhere near as good as my 15 year old cheapie Trust one which I was hoping to replace. - Finally the on-cable remote doesn't work right. Not only does the volume wheel turn down the mic sensitivity (which was already too low) at the same time as the headphone volume, but the on/off switch does nothing at all. Having said all that, the sound quality is pretty good for 10 headphones, but that's the only good thing I can say about them.
Better than gaming headset September 25, 2007 J. Miller (lincolnshire, England) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Really good headset. i had a logitech gaming headset it gave me problems from day 1, the mic never really worked, and only one earphone at a time worked and it tended to be really distorted. This headset is loud, comfortable and the mic works, being able to remove it is a real plus. would recommened this highly, and its only cost 10 what a bargin.
