Very nice product July 12, 2008 G. R. De Vine (glatsonbury) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This laptop is great so far - no problems at all. It does everything my wife needed it for and because we ordered Office Student Edition we got money off both. I had no problems connecting it to my wifi router and straight onto internet. Took about 10 mins to get the setting sorted for my home network and now able to file and printer share within the network. Quite honestly it wasn't hard! As to performance - obviously Vista is a bit bloated but quite frankly its not a major issue and system runs ok. It's not blisteringly fast but after discount the laptop cost 240 - if you want to run games you'd need to spend over a grand to get decent performance so you get what you pay for.
brilliant laptop July 8, 2008 Miss C Styles (lancashire uk) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
ive had this laptop a few days now and i am very impressed, it runs very smoothly and i have had no trouble connecting to the internet. it is perfect for my needs as a student. this is the second laptop i have owned and by far the better of the two. my favorite feature has to be the voice recognition programme as it enables me to dictate notes which is a lot quicker then stopping to type every few minutes. perfect for coursework and surfing the net.

Laptop Rubbish June 1, 2008 Mr. C. M. Sear (Bournemouth England) 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
Bought Acer Laptop Aspire. It would not connect to Internet as has been previously commented on. Acer no help at all. Kept on blaming my BT Home Hub, Already running Sony Vaio very sucessfully and with ease. Sent machine back to Acer 3 times. No better. In the end got onto BT helpline who disabled most of Acer System Managment and run it through windows. What a waste of money. Vista leaves alot to be desired. Will never buy another Acer product in mylife. My advice buy anything else.
