Decent - just about worth 30 June 14, 2008 ColinMcC (Edinburgh, UK) I bought this as I wanted something portable for use in the garden and bathroom. For 30, it's just about worth it .... mainly for the convenience and portability it offers as the sound quality is fairly average. Was a doddle to set up with my phone, which is a Sony W950i so supports A2DP and connects up easy as pie. Far more hassle getting it working with my computer. XP doesn't support A2DP natively so you'll need to install alternate bluetooth software in order to get it working (and your dongle needs to be a Widcomm based one or you've had it). Got it going eventually but the setup was far from straightforward. Having said all that, once it is working it does what it says on the tin and it looks pretty smart in the bathroom. The built in rechargeable battery is a definite plus and it may well come in handy on holiday as a portable speaker to attach to my media player. Sound quality is pretty average. Very little bass and overall I'd give it about 5/10 on this front but then it was never going to blow your head off with 2x2w output I suppose. Controls on the device are limited and a wee bit fiddly but OK once you get the hang of them. Overall, as long as you don't expect miracles on the sound quality front, it's probably just about worth the money. I wouldn't buy it at the 50 it was originally priced at though.
Tiny, loud, brilliant! May 29, 2008 Marc Andrew Jackson As small as a Red Bull can, louder than you would ever expect and even a slight bit of base rather than that usual tinny sound. Ideal for a holiday with mates. Anyone can connect it to their phone via bluetooth or 3.5mm jack and away you go - within a minute. For 30 this is an absolute bargain!
MEGA!!!!!!! May 24, 2008 lukey boy This product is so good. the sound is brill!!!! Very good range. very good battery life. it also looks very stylish. a must have item. would recommend to anyone.
A2DP a requirement September 7, 2007 Mr. Vm Lysaght If your phone does A2DP then this is a fimne piece of kit. Works really well with my Nokia N73 with version 4 firmware. I've now no need for any other portable music player.
Be Wary August 2, 2007 R. Balser (UK (Essex)) Check if your mobile has A2DP capability for playing MP3 files via bluetooth before buying. Nice piece of kit but not bluetooth compatable with many mobiles notably SE K750I which I have.Plays MP3 files if a physical link is made with provided cable & suitable output cable from phone.Nice sound & the voice dialing function is useful
