Product Description The 802.11g WAP connects to your network switch and lets you join your wireless-equipped PCs to your wired network. It is based on breakthrough 802.11g technology that makes wireless file transfers and downloads faster than ever before. 802.11g technology provides you with networking speeds nearly five times faster than the current Wi-Fi (802.11b) standard. When connected to a gateway, the WAP can increase your network's coverage area and allow you to take advantage of expanded wireless roaming capabilities. Once you've done the simple setup, you can share data and peripherals, as well as a single Internet account among all your computers. 802.11g technology is the easiest wireless network to implement. The Access Point uses the wireless 802.11g 2.4GHz standard to offer you the widest working range-up to 1500 feet -and greater interoperability in mixed networking environments. 802.11g technology is backward-compatible with the 802.11b Wi-Fi networking standard, so it allows you to implement faster wireless technologies in combination with existing 802.11b Wi-Fi networks. An added Turbo Mode feature isolates your network from 802.11b wireless clients and allows your network to transmit data at the highest 802.11g data rate, 54Mbps.

Reeeally easy to install! May 10, 2008 L. Wake (UK) I found this wireless card extremely easy to install. All I had to do was click 'Install' and 'Finish' and it was pretty much working straight away, which is great because installing these things can sometimes be a bit of a nightmare!
Wireless worrys April 5, 2008 S. Wiltshire (Wiltshire England) Despite a few negative comments about this card, i found installing it simplicity itself. Follow the straightforward instructions, works first time with bt homehub. Have now been using for a month with no problems at all.
Amazing Product September 10, 2007 Sam Kim 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Installed the CD and plugged in the card it started to work. Just need to restart the system once. That is it!!!!!!! Works very well with the BT Home HUB.
Try a better make ! September 9, 2007 Jane 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This card wasted a day of our life and caused grief and misery before we got it working. The card itself works well and is worth 5 stars, but the software is worth ZERO stars. Eventually we realised the card couldn't find the router simply because the Belkin software was rubbish, then things quickly improved. We simply disabled the Belkin software and set up the card using Windows XP SP2 and its now working fine. So my advice is...choose another make unless you enjoy brain pain!
Works well August 5, 2007 S. Hamer (Isle of Man, British Isles) Installed OK from clear albeit brief instructions. Works with Linksys WAG residential gateway (modem/router). Why not 5 stars? - the design means it sticks out about an inch, rather than the more normal slightly shorter onesm so have to unplug it to get the laptop in the bag.
