Unit worked very well as long as you select a filter cartrige which make a good seal. Otherwise the water just leaks by and fills the lower tank unfiltered.
Now however the blue cool led just flickers all the time with the unit making an odd noise from its electronics or maybe the fan on the thermoelectric cooler.
Now to find a new one or another model...

Bought after reading reviews, was great at first but now cooling indicator stays on constant as does the fan, even after water is chilled to correct temprature, I am awaiting a replacement as I write, fingers crossed it was just a bad one, I was pleased with it at first lovely cool water on tap !!! the replacement has now packed up with the same problem, not going to bother to have it replaced again so requested a refund, guess I will have to buy one that goes in the fridge as the reviews on the other well know brand are none to good !!!!

I have had this water cooler now for a month. I bought it after reading good reviews on this site. I am not disappointed in the product. It was easy to assemble. A very quiet machine and cool/ambient water on tap.

Fantastic product
Cools the water in small quantities
so making it a lot faster.
Not much noise from the motor.
Water is very pleasant to drink takes a couple of weeks to get rid of the plastic taste after that it is great.
Will use universal filters as well as Britas.
So pleased I have bought a second one
for my nephew.
Originally bought a Brevill Britas AQUA FOUNTAIN
Least said about that the better it is not in
the same league as the WD83

The Hinari water cooler is excellent value for money, neat in size and quiet in operation. I particularly like the drip tray, and the fact that it will take a number of standard type filters. Very stylish in looks and reasonably inobtrusive, constantly delivering cool, clean water. All in all a great buy in comparison with its competitors.
