Only had it for 11 months when it went rusty inside. If it wasn't for that it'd get 5 *'s

Yet another mistake from Amazon - this kettle is red in the picture not 'volcanic', which is orange!

Approx Capacity 2.1L / 3.7pt.
Enamelled steel stove top kettle with matt black phenolic knob.
The unique locking, stay-cool handle is comfortable and this kettle also has the added feature of a large lid....aiding easy filling, lifting and pouring.
Easy to clean.
Suitable for all hobs, including ceramic and AGA, which makes a pleasant change!
Available in a variety of other colours, or check out the smaller 1.6L / 2.8pt KONE kettle, also available at Amazon.

Le Creuset Traditional Kettle really is a product that does exactly what it needs to do: it boils water on a stove. No bells, whistles or electronics. Simple to use :
1 Fill with water
2 Put on stove.
3 Light/switch on stove.
4 Wait for it to boil.
5 Turn off stove.
6 Make cup of tea/coffee/instant soup.
7 Repeat as neccesary
