Product Description Looking like a Mr Whippy ice cream, the BioBulb isnt just an energy saving lightbulb; its a full spectrum natural daylight bulb, thats three times as bright as a conventional light bulb. Ordinary energy saving bulbs can give out a very yellowy depressing light. Biobulbs are bright, long lasting and energy saving. An energy saving bulb, with low running costs the 25W bulb is equivalent to a 100W, and the 20W is equivalent to a 60W bulb. The biobulb closely replicates sunlight, helping to improve mood, night time sleep and daytime energy. Anyone prone to Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) may find that its flicker-free white light helps to restore their natural equilibrium. Ideal for living areas and pleasing to the eye The BioBulb radiates less heat than a standard bulb so no risk of lampshade burn Energy efficient and long-lasting giving over 10,000 hours of low energy daylight, thats about seven years! You could say its a light investment. Sizes: 25W is 13.5cm long; 20w is 12.5cm long

Great bulbs to banish winter blues January 7, 2009 Graham Cooke (Malmesbury, Wiltshire, UK) An inexpensive way to banish those winter blues. These bulbs give off a very bright blueish light that is very easy to work under. I'm not sure if they are having a real effect but I feel better working in this sort of light.
Sunlight on tap November 5, 2008 K. Jamal (UK) I bought this bulb based on advertising blurb as I had never seen one of these before. Having tried it, I have now bought 5 more from a company in Germany as they had a range of different wattages. I absolutely love it. Gone is the gloomy reddish light I have lived in all my life! Very close to sunlight; it does lift up your spirits, especially through these winter days. I thoroughly recommend this but a good idea might be buy a single bulb first to see how you like it. Not cheap at over 10 each but they pay back being low energy bulbs.
