Micromark Reliability November 29, 2008 Fenton O'flynn (uk) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently received two of these lights and both were faulty. I found this surprising because I had previously used three of these for some four years with no problems. Perhaps there is now an issue with quality control. I advise any new purchaser to thoroughly test the light prior to installation.
A good idea.. hard to find in shops May 17, 2008 S. J. Willett (Suffolk, UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I own 6 of these lights on my villa in Spain. Little bit tricky to set them up.. I advise doing it before mounting them on the wall. The only problem we have had are the screw threads holding the lamp to the wall bracket. Otherwise an excellent idea as the saver light can be on all night or for an adjustable period after the halogen light has switched off giving the owner an indication that someone was about...worth every penny
Great Dual Purpose Unit March 15, 2008 DP (Middlesex United Kingdom) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
We had standard security lights in place on our double garage. When the unit blew, we decided to buy this dual unit. It has been a great purchase so far. The ambient night light it provides is really good, keeps a beady eye on the cars and ensures that people can see any suspish characters lurking around at all times. The PIR unit is a bit weak, but its sufficient for the purpose, as the ambient light does cast pretty far. Definitely recommended, especially if you put in an even lower watt bulb, as we did.
