Very poor indeed August 8, 2007 Mabawsa 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
I agree that this is a sub-standard electric toothbrush. I had a similar model which I bought several years ago and lasted well. I finally decided that it needed replaced and was just looking for a similar model. This appears to be a newer version of what I had before but it is far less effective. As another reviewer said, it does not have a light indicating that it is charging (as shown in the picture). It also does not have a timer, a previous function which I found very useful. When I first took it out it seemed as if it was not fully charged, yet after a night of charging it remained the same - a low buzz that feels like it's not doing very much. It'll do until I get around to buying another one. This time I'll be opting for one in a slightly higher price range.
Cheap and I now know why ! June 22, 2007 ATNP 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I bought this toothbrush for two reasons; firstly it was cheap and secondly the reviews for it were pretty good. Having now used it for a week I can say without hesitation that this is a rubbish product. Yes, it is cheap .. but boy do the words "False Economy" now ring true. Basically after powering it up for at least 24 hours it runs right from the first use like my old one (Braun 5000 3D) did when it was just about to run out of power. Apply even the absolute slightest bit of pressure on your teeth and the brush slows down to a crawl and after a couple of minutes your teeth are left feeling distinctly unbrushed. So do yourself a favour and don't buy this product, its a complete waste of time. By all means go for a pricier model ... from experience they're excellent. What beats me though, is what planet the other positive reviewers were on when they used theirs !
Not like the photo image July 27, 2005 40 out of 41 found this review helpful
Just received this and it does not have a charging indicator light, unlike the photo. Just a minor thing perhaps, but my previous Braun electric toothbrush had one and it's very handy to know it's charging. With this new one I've plugged it in and I assume it's charging but without a light, who knows! Amazon, please change the photo to display the actual product you are selling.
