well what is there to say about Le Creuset that hasn't already been said?
If you like your dinners hot then Le Creuset is the way to go. These cast iron cocottes heat up and stay hot (hotter than the sun). They are truly truly amazing things. However, an Arnold Schwarzenegger-type will be required to lift the thing from the oven due to their colossal weight.
I'm off to make a casserole...

The Le Creuset cast iron series is total quality. It's a different experience to cooking in regular pans - they hold the heat so well and so evenly that even the smallest ring on a hob can heat the biggest pan.
They are VERY heavy, and obviously the handles get hot, but thats just part of the appeal.
They are expensive, but feel like they'll last forever. The enamel coating beats non-stick every time, both in functionality and durability. At the current discount price you've got to get one... The only trouble is then you'll want to replace your other pans, and some of the larger sizes are over 100 each!!! Youch! Still the rest of us can grab bargins like this one...
