Great item - just don't charge at night! April 5, 2008 S. West (Hinckley, Leics UK) I have been using this model of toothbrush for approx 1yr and its great - my boyf is now purchasing the same model so it must be good! Other people have complained about the blue flashing light - I now only charge the toothbrush in the day so this is now not a problem. I thought this was kinda straightforward but it appears that people have been putting tape over the light etc... no need - just charge when its not dark!!
Whiter teeth than Richard Hammond's? February 12, 2008 Mr. F. L. Dunkin Wedd 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was advised to get this by my dental hygienist - and I can only echo earlier positive reviews. It DOES feel like you've never really brushed your teeth before. It really DOES make your teeth whiter. The stuttering timer is NOT a disadvantage - it's a real plus. I really DO wish I'd bought one years ago. It seems odd to eulogise over a toothbrush, but it really is very very good. NB: To maximise battery life, DO allow the toothbrush battery to run down completely at least every six months. To save the planet, DON'T leave the charger plugged in all the time (which also means you won't have the blue flashing light people complain of!). I charge the thing up fully (16 hours); unplug the charger and use the brush until it runs down (it lasts ages). Then charge it again - and so on.

excellent cleaning power. took a few days to get used to the vibration on my teeth as they are sensitive. teeth look and feel really clean. very impressed with battery charge.. lasts ages. tescos sell the 2 pin plug adaptor for under 3 pounds that you need to charge this toothbrush.
Anything more expensive is pointless January 18, 2008 Mo (London, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
An electric toothbrush is basically a toothbrush with a motor, meaning that on this alone a 3 figure price isn't justified unless you want the benefits of UV cleansing and more deeper brushing (this is equal but in other ways better to a manual). A 16hr charge can give a good amount of brushing time, around 2 or 3 weeks. The unit itself is attractive (I don't mind the blue charging beacon!) and fairly light. It does a good job and heads don't seem too hard to find, at least on line. You will need a 2 pin adaptor, but most homes should already have one for shaver use etc. So, for a first, or indeed replacement electric toothbrush, bare in mind cheaper doesn't mean inferior. It's adequate and that's all you need.
My Only Regret Is Not Owning This Sooner!!!! January 1, 2008 L. Calland (West Yorkshire, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have never used an electric toothbrush before, and was always under the impression that a manual toothbrush is better. HOW WRONG WAS I!!!!!! This toothbrush is amazing, my teeth have never felt so clean and you notice how great this toothbrush is after only 1 use. I can't wait until I have been using it for several months as the results will be amazing. Simple to use, and the small toothbrush head makes it easy to get to all the hard to reach places in your mouth. I bought this for my wife for Christmas, but bought one for myself as my wife couldn't stop saying how great it is. Your teeth literally start to shine after using this for a while, and slowly the stains fade away. Plus with the cheap price Amazon are offering for this toothbrush you can't afford NOT to get it. I guarantee you will notice the difference after 1 use to a normal manual toothbrush. The only slight thing is the very bright blue light that flashes when you charge the toothbrush. It is like a police car in your room! I now put it in the bathroom so it doesn't light the room up!!!! You will be smiling from ear to ear with this product =D
