Chilled out puppies August 7, 2007 Elizabeth Hennel (Rochdale, UK) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I first saw this product in an in-flight magazine en route to the USA. When I got back home I searched high and low for them here. I have 2 dogs, one of whom is disabled, with a crippled foreleg. She gets very easily overheated at any time of year, but especially in the summer. She also needs a cushioned surface to lie on to protect her joints from more damage. She took to the first cooler like a duck to water; no messing! My other dog has never known anything else; he was raised with them from being a tiny pup - he is particularly grateful for his cooler at the end of a long day at a dog show, or after a good long walk. I now have 4 coolers - 2 in the travel crates and 2 in the house. At dog shows I take a cool bag and put the spare coolers in there so they have cool coolers when we return to the car at the end of the day. These are great things - I am SO impressed with them; they stand up to a lot of wear - and after 3 years constant use are nearly as good as new. I do not understand why they are not more readily available or widely recommended. I wouldn't be without them EVER again!
