The `Tarte Tatin Dish' is not only excellent at the job its name implies but is also equally successful as a base for cooking a whole range of tempting sweets, puddings and savoury dishes in.
I have just tried out, and tasted, the divine, new recipe for:-
`Chocolate and Raspberry Cake' -
a rich cake with a hidden tang, from the raspberries!
It can be served warm as a dessert or cold as a cake.
The Dish:-
Cast Iron, approx. 25 cm diameter with low-set handles, and because they are set lower than the dish, it is easy to place the serving plate on top and flip the contents over, if required, without losing any!
Suitable for all heat sources - on the hob, in the oven and under the grill.
Easy to clean/dishwasher safe.
Lifetime guarantee, naturally.
