| Features:
| • | Sonic Cat Repeller detects and repels cats, without harming them. Protects lawns, flowerbeds, bird feeders & ponds. The Repeller is easy to install, with its battery power. | | • | The Sonic Cat Repeller incorporates a sophisticated PIR (Passive Infra Red) detection system, which constantly monitors a fan shaped area of a 98 degrees arc up to a distance of 12 metres. | | • | The protected area is over 120sq. meters of unobstructed space. The Sonic Cat Repeller detects animals moving into this area and triggers a burst of continuously variable ultrasound, which sweeps a frequency range of 18,000Hz 24,000 Hz to repel them. Simultaneously the LED indicator on the front of unit signals that it is now activated. | | • | The Sonic Cat Repeller is powered by two 9V alkaline batteries. Battery power in conserved by the PIR detection system, which allows the unit to remain on stand-by between activation periods, so maximizing battery life. | | • | The Push on/off Test Button on the face of the unit will drop the sonic frequency to an audible range. This enables you to check that the unit is functioning properly and to hear the swept frequency. The unit is also weather resistant. |

Product Description PROTECT YOUR GARDEN HABITAT: There are 9 million cats in the UK. The mammal society says cats kill around 275 million prey items a year, including 55 million birds. Voles and other small mammals make up much of the remainder. The Sonic Cat Repeller will help protect your garden habitat and encourage wildlife and birds back into it.

What a load of rubbish and waste of money May 13, 2008 C. Ferguson (Scotland) I bought this as i have stray cat that keeps coming to my window annoying my house cats, so i bought this thinking if i place it outside the window this will keep the pest at bay!!! what an understatment, the first night i installed it within 5 minutes the pesty cat was at my window, what a waste of money believe me dont buy it!!!!!
Working ok so far May 12, 2008 Andrew Flatres I have had this product for a week now and it took some time to kick in. Its now been 4 days where it has been clear from cats mess. So its looking promising. Dont expect it to deter the cats straight away, but eventually it will. I do wonder maybe i should get another 1 to increase the detterent.
It doesn't work! May 8, 2008 Mr. B. K. Gill (Liverpool UK) I was very optimistic for this product having read the other reviews that have been posted. I can't understand why so many people have had success when for me, this product has completely failed. Our neighbour has two cats both of which are still quite happy to come into our back yard. The big cheese does not seem to affect them in anyway, they will happily stroll up to the device completely unfazed.
AMAZING April 16, 2008 K. J. Pendery (Leicestershire) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This has changed my life, no more scooping cat poop from out of my veggie patch! I've tried many different things to stop our neighbours cat using my veg patch as a loo. Powder deterants and canes stuck into the ground with flappy plastic to name two, I brought the above as a last resort. Brillaint! I dug and prepared the seed bed for my next batch of planting yesterday and having inspected it this morning, it is still perfect and clear of any poop. I went for this product as I hope the sensor design will stop the batteries running out to quick. My only advice is to buy your batteries elsewhere as the postage from the seller on amazon was going to be approx 9.00, very excessive I thought.
Terrible idea if your neighbours have good hearing April 4, 2008 alexinuk 2 out of 11 found this review helpful
My neighbours have one of these in their garden and I'm repeatedly plagued with a high pitched noise that they refuse to turn off. It's environmental pollution of the worst kind - causes terrible headaches and I end up trying to turn up the volume of the TV or radio to drown it out. Doesn't affect the cats, though, ironically.
