Let me get this right Zivi, 1)you don't have cats 2)you didn't buy this product. This sounds like someone who doesn't know what they are talking about.
Tell you what Zivi, I'll get a refund on the product and the money I save, I'll use to post the piles of cat poo that the neighbours cat decides to leave in my garden to you. How would you like that. :-)
I think I may just order 4-5 and give these dirty pesky felines some surround sound distress. And Maybe the garden wildlife will get some rest bite as well.

Recently I was having some trouble with cats digging up the garden. They tend to make a hole to deposit their excrement, which then leaves a trail for other cats to find.
I had tried all the usual products - pepper spray, gels etc - all to no avail.
However, I am delighted to say this product has worked a treat - no more cats! It took me no more than 5 minutes to set up and install, and the job was done. It emits a high frequency noise which is audible to the cats - but not to humans. Low running costs are a bonus.
