This knife is comfortable to hold, cuts easily through meats, fish and vegetables, and holds its sharpness for a long times. It has a good weight to it and is very durable. May be expensive, but is well worth it.

There really are no better knives than Wusthof, and this is the 'flagship'. I recently bought a set of Wusthof Classic after years of using cheap inferior kitchen knives. To be honest the price frightened me, but already I am realising that I will have saved money in the long run. The balance is perfect, the cutting edge is amazing and if you use the correct technique all cutting jobs are effortless. Add to this the fact that with proper care these knives should last a lifetime and you will see that you will never have to buy another set of knives again. The only difference between Wusthof Classic and Wusthof Grand Prix (apart from the wider product Range in Classic) is the construction of the handle, so I would recommend you to try them out in a store to see which suits best before buying online. The Classic felt more comfortable and substantial to me, but others may find the the Grand Prix more suitable.
