I bought this Knife set from Amazon over a year ago and they now have rust spots on them,even though these have not been put through a Dishwasher. I have E-mailed Amazon who state i have to contact Viners now as these are guarnteed for life, i E-mailed Viners earlier in the year and have to date have had no response. maybe good as a cheap set but you will have to pay out again within the year or 2. Not happy.

We gave our daughter this set last Christmas, and she has been really pleased with it.We got given one this year and it is absolutely brilliant.It looks very smart and the knives are really sharp, it is a pleasure to prepare food now. There is an excellent selection of knives, and a sharpening steel and carving fork.

i wanted some new knifes for my new kitchen and read lots of reviews,these are spot on. very sharp i can carve my joints properly now.
it also looks very good on my worktop.

If you are anything like my 50plus year old mother you will undoubtably have a kitchen drawer full of odd blunt lethal knives. The ones that should have been condemned years ago. Despair no more, open the drawer and throw them all away. DO NOT LEAVE ANY IN DRAWER. Order these and I promise you will not be disappointed, they are sharp, durable easy to use, clean and the best bit... they look good. My mum wishes she bought them years ago. Now she can finely slice her beautiful homegrown tomatoes

I bought these knives for Christmas for my husband and we love them. We desperately needed new knives, we just hadn't realised how much. These are very good value for money.
All the knives you could need are in the set and the block is quite attractive. The side is heavy duty plastic material - they will be a technical name for this - and I initially (when he opened the box) thought it looked odd but when it's all put together it's sleek and stylish. The side is simply to protect both the knives and you.
They are dishwasher safe but I am worried about their sharpness and also the potential for them to eventually go rusty (as all my other knife sets have) so I've opted to hand wash them.
A great set, good value for money but be warned; they are seriously sharp!
