Product Description
Designed by Sam Hecht the knife has a melamine handle that is 'cool' to the touch, is white and resilient. The blade is made from a high carbon stainless steel that is a combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. The process of production is precision forging, heat treating (RockwellC53 to C56 degrees), precision grinding and hand honing. Finally, a fine glaze is applied. All this adds up to one of the most sophisticated combinations of modern technology with the experience of Sheffield craftsmanship. Blade length is 140mm.

Great workmanlike knives - no nonsense efficiency November 10, 2006

I have both this knife and the smaller size. They are really nice to use, comfortable handles and good blades that keep an edge well. They have a sharp point which makes them good for all sorts of cooking - no need to change knives for chopping/boning/small/large etc. Handles also stand up to the dishwasher well, although the blades mark. Highly recommended if you don't want to keep a set of ten knives on the go!
