What a giggle! December 17, 2008 Mum_2_Moo_and_Lou (UK) My husband brought this for my birthday, at first I was a little worried at what he thought but actually it's great fun. The knives are brilliant for the price and although the stand is made of plastic it doesn't detract from the fun behind the idea.
Cheap looking, plasticky and way too big (A poor expensive copy of the original) August 30, 2008 L. Hollis 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Had seen of of these in the gadget shop, but it was smaller and in a coated metal rather than this cheap plastic. Is way too big and looks cheap. The knives seemed to be good, but will be returning - Cheapened the look of our fab new kitchen :(

I have had mine for a year as the centre piece of my Bistro kitchen. The knives are used constantly and sharpen well. Overall, the piece looks great and draws many admiring comments. Sure, its a little expensive but then it is unique. It is also a very practical way of having your knives to hand. Love it. Canalchef
wedding gift February 16, 2008 R P (uk) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
i bought one of these in black for a friends weddings, they love it. its losing 2 stars here though because its overpriced. only 60 at firebox or 80 for a chrome effect one.
Cheap plastic - way too big! January 19, 2008 Spaceminkey (London, UK) 7 out of 11 found this review helpful
I ordered one of these and was amazed to see the size of it. It is way too big for your average kitchen (and mine's not small) and the picture here is deceptive. Thing twice before you buy - this is bigger than my kettle, toaster, blender and narrowly smaller than the bread maker. It takes up a lot of surface space in the kitchen too - looks great, nice idea, really wanted it, but just needed to be about 50 to 75% smaller in my view. I returned it and will be buying a good set of quality knives.
