I love the swan teasmaid but just wish the lid was more secure, I find it nearly falls off if you tip the pot up too far, I do think the tray is a good idea. Its very conpact so fits in a small place, I just love it.
great item November 18, 2007 P. Ostman (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
really enjoy our teasmade, it's great for when we have to get up for work at 4. The rocker switches are a little awkward, and i have chipped the teapot a little though still useable, would like to be able to buy a spare from Amazon.

Swan Teasmade or DIY job? May 17, 2007 Alcuin (Hampshire, England) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
A timeswitch and a kettle is better value and more ergonomic! I bought the original version when we got married and it lasted over 30 years. Without thinking I bought the new version - what a mistake. This was designed by a moron. The one thing you want to be able to do is to easily set the time you want the teamaker to wake you up. The adjuster is concealed in the teapot compartment next to the clock control so that you can confuse the two. One is coloured red, but you can't look at the knobs if you want to see the setting on the dial. The new one's gone wrong after about 8 years -and I'm glad to be rid of it.
Yippee for being traditional May 7, 2006 D. C. Gillespie (Herts) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
Just moved in to my own place, havent got mum to make the tea anymore. This is a good ole british institution, and what a great little machine. Thank you Swan for keeping the teasmade alive.
