Product Description Discover the new insulated double wall 1.7 litre kettle from Magimix. Magimix have been designing products for over 30 years and are constantly looking at ways to perfect them and this latest creation is something special. The kettles unique double wall jacket retains heat, so once youve boiled the kettle, any water left inside stays warm for longer. Which means, next time its boiled youll use less electricity, saving you money and helping save the environment. Plus, it also steamed away with the 2008 Industry Silver Award for its innovative double wall jacket and strong visual appearance. More tea anyone? Please Note: All electrical products sold by CookInstyle (InStyle Products Limited) are supplied with a UK 3 pin plug.

Expensive but worth it! January 3, 2009 fillyandthefoals (Surrey, UK) I bought this kettle about 3 months ago and so far have no complaints. It is on the expensive side but I am hoping that it will last as long as my last kettle - which was 10 years - and then it'll be worth the extra money. Nothing about it is is disappointing and everything about it says quality. Lovely gimicky bits like the pop up lid for easy filling and the glowing light in the filler level. Five stars!
Defective three times in a row October 26, 2008 Roger (London United Kingdom) 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
I bought this kettle from John Lewis, and returned it because the lid would not open. The replacement was also defective. It switched itself off within ten seconds. So I returned it. I wondered if John Lewis had received a bad batch so ordered a third time from Amazon. No surprise - the lid would not open! So I returned that one too. My determination to acquire this kettle has been thwarted. At least I can confidently disagree completely with the Which? website and with the other reviewers who recommended it. It's expensive, too. Magimix should stick to what they do best - food processors.
A Great Kettle October 13, 2008 Masterskier (UK) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I've now owned this kettle for 4 months and it has been brilliant. It's very well built with clean modern lines and solid construction. It neither leaks nor drips when pouring and boils very quickly. The only thing that had concerned me had been the Magimix logo stamped into the side but it is quite subtle under normal lighting. The best kettle I've ever owned.
Brilliant product September 25, 2008 Cinderella (Lancashire, UK) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Brilliant product and worth every penny. I know its a lot to pay for a kettle but I was fed up of constantly buying replacement kettles that were noisy and slow. I have never paid this much for a kettle but it is beautifully made, attractive to look at and fast. The only draw back would be the weight. It is quite heavy when full to capacity. As it is guaranteed for 3 years I expect it to last for at least 10 or more!
Wow! August 22, 2008 B. Wosiek (UK) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
We bought this kettle few days ago from a differnt supplier and, so far, we love it! The looks and "feel" compensates a rather noisy kettle, but the boiling is rapid, so this doesn't matter too much. It has a few nice features, the way the top opens, the light that easily shows the water level, fast free power cord.... No doubt it is a high quality product and I would recommend it to anyone. Lets hope it will last longer than the previous kettles.
