I really like this kettle - far more than the matching toaster!
It boils really fast. a bi noisy but I can live with that.
You can fill the the kettle without taking off the lid just by pressing a switch on the handle. The on-off switch is at the bottom but I keep pressing the lid switch my mistake! Maybe that's just me!
The kettle pours really well. It's on a 360-degree base making it suitable for both right and left handed people in your home.
I was bought this as a present and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Received this kettle the day after it was ordered (credit to Amazon for their fast delivery as usual)and already I love it.
It is sleek and smooth and looks as though it should cost far more than the currant price on this site.
The automatic lid opening is great and works exactly as it should. When closed it leaves a lovely flat finish to the top and adds to the overall elegance of this kettle. This also makes it easier to fill through the spout as there are no handles or sticking up bits to get in the way.
Works like a dream and is slightly quieter than my old Breville kettle. Also seems to boil faster and switch off quicker, though that may be because my old kettle needed descaling.
The spout pours very precisely with no spillage and unlike the plastic kettles the water seems to stay hotter for longer.
One final plus is the green light! It's very pretty and much brighter than the usual blue or red. I know I'm sad but I actually found myself watching the water swirl around in the green hue for pure viewing pleasure! Most importantly, for those that are energy concious, the light only comes on whilst boiling so unlike some other kettles you aren't slowly paying to keep a light on in the window of your kitchen appliance!.
I can't think of any bad points with this item and highly recommend.

First it had a burning plastic smell when boiling the water now in about 3 weeks it is leaking from the viewer. Crappy product

Chose this Kettle as we had researched many makes, models and designs and it suited our taste and decor, however after obtaining a bargain with both this Kettle and the matching toaster, we were disappointed to find that after one week the side window (displaying the water level and green light) leaked, covering the work surface with water. We obtained a replacement without problem from the retailer we purchased it from, however in a little over a fortnight the 2nd one leaked from the same place. It could just be a faulty batch or bad luck, but incase it's a design flaw we decided to opt for an alternative in the Prestige Deco range. Shame though.

It boils water and lights up green. What more could you want!! I've had this product for about 6 months and it works well, no problems whatsoever.
