Beware April 5, 2008 M. Hollands (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this kettle about 7 months ago looks good, quick and quiet boil, not too expensive, reliable manufacturer, etc. Unfortunately it has not lived up to my expectations. I fill via the lid to help keep the filter clean of limescale but i found the lid quite stiff to remove and it was not as quiet as i was led to believe, but i could deal with that. Then it started to leak, quite severely, out of one then both the windows... Has proven to be very expensive and totally unreliable as i am now on the market for another kettle but not Kenwood.
Too heavy! March 7, 2008 A. Thurlow (Watford, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a lovely kettle, good-looking, quiet, boils quickly with a groovy blue illumination when switched on and doesn't drip. My only criticism {reason for 4 stars} is that it's very heavy and would not suit people with weaker wrists.
Nice kettle December 6, 2007 Book Lover (UK) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Very pleased with this, boils quickly, seems sturdy and its alot quieter than our Morphy Richards.
Peace at last December 3, 2007 smartyp (London) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is a reasonably priced kettle that is quiet, practical, and aesthetically inoffensive. It boils a full fill in three minutes, the minimum fill in one minute, and you can still hear your kitchen radio. It has a solid feel to it. If it lasts a year or two, I'll come back and give it the extra star.
