Purchasers of any product may first be tempted by the looks of an item and then perhaps the price. A good review will help to backup their feelings and at the moment I have no reason not to give this kettle top marks. It fits the bill as far as I am concerned. It looks good. It's a fair price. I don't have to drum my fingers waiting for it to boil. The lid opens easily to 90 degrees, which I find good as I usually fill from a filter water jug in order to reduce scaling. The water line is clearly visible and it pours nicely. All in all I am pleased with my purchase. My last kenwood kettle lasted for over two years and cosidering the number of times it was switched on and off each day, I reckon it took considerable punishment.

It looks good but ours doesnt work, the on off switch broke after 3 weeks. Its very noisey and not as fast as others, still it looks good.
