I have to agree with everything C.Martin writes in his review above. This is the second Morphy Richards kettle I have bought. The first has has seen many, many years of service and is still going strong and looks as good as ever. I bought the Complements jug kettle to the replace the succession of kettles we have had in our main kitchen. Many makes don't seem to last five minutes these days. It is evident Morphy Richards put a lot of thought into designing decent and practical products that do not fail to deliver, and promise years of service. They are a company that make quality products that are very reasonably priced, and on this basis I believe Morphy Richards are a manufacter well worth supporting.

A great basic kettle. Light and easy to fill because of the flip-lid button. Twin water-gauge windows very useful. Boils quickly : max capacity (1.5l) in 2.5 mins and min. capacity (2 cups) in just 1 minute. Not noisy and the whistle is very helpful, just loud enough to get your attention. Pours really well, no drips at all. Arrived in just 3 days and I'm delighted. Shape and size great for any kitchen. Auto switch-off is fairly quick, so no steamy kitchen.
