KEEP WARM December 2, 2008 Thomas Marshall (u.k @ the mo) THIS IS A FANTASTIC KETTLE, DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN, UP UNTIL THE KEEP WARM FUNCTION STOPPED WORKING. KETTLE IS ONLY 3 WEEKS OLD. I GOT A FLICKER OUT OF THE LITTLE LIGHT THAT TELLS YOU THE KEEP WARM IS WORKING BUT THATS IT.
Broken in just a few months September 6, 2008 Gwilym (Essex UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We've had the kettle for just a few months and it's broken - it won't boil water. The glowing lights are a rather pointless waste of electricity and the lid construction doesn't look robust to me. I won't be buying this brand again.
Unreliable & Expensive May 28, 2008 SJ (London, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had my keetle since Dec 07, it has now stopped boiling and the blue light no longer works! I wouldn't recommend it to anybody it looks very nice but is a great disappointment.
Everything i wanted for a kettle and more May 8, 2008 D. Lowe (UK) Very impressed with this kettle. Looks very smart in my new high quality kitchen. The water is very pure, which i do notice as i drink black earl grey tea. I am impressed how quick it is to boil. this is the BEST kettle i have ever had. I recommend it fully :o))
Thumbs Down April 16, 2008 Gaspasser (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Unfortunately shelling out for a more expensive kettle delivers nothing extra in terms of function or reliability with this kettle. I also have a model with a lid that pops up mid boil or during pouring such that you get a nice blast of scalding steam on your hand when you least expect it. I barely got 6 months use out of it before it started doing this.
