bought this as my plastic morphy richards had started leaking a lot from the bottom and when buying a new one i wanted a safer item than plastic-- after the hype about plastic chemicals. this is good apart from the way it dribbles when u turn it too far upside down. the handle doesnt get hot, it has not had any signs of being dirty after a few weeks of owning it-the glass looks clear. i compared the boiling speed with my old one (my morphy richards was an expensive rapid boil that served me well for about 8 years) and it was 30 seconds behind (yet the capacity for this one is greater) so it works out evenly. it doesnt act unstable while boiling and its not that noisy or anything. overall happy with the look, behaviour, delivery speed and value for money. the spout is the only thing(being small u have to be patient or it dribbles)
