Although it looks good, the placing of the heating element - it's PERPENDICULAR, rather than at the base of the kettle - means:
1. minimum water level means kettle has to be at least half-full before it can be boiled
2. more expensive in power consumption ie to make a cup of tea kettles has to boil more water.

Also - it's the noisiest kettle I've ever had.
