The problem with this kettle is that the plastic hinge on the lid has broken after less than 18 months light useage. The Retailer is not interested as the guarantee is only 12 months and the UK Distributor is equally uninterested. I would definitely not buy a kettle of this design again and definitely not an Igenix.
