The senseo March 31, 2008 Mr. I. A. Pearson (France) Just bought this machine which is great. While in the Uk it may sometimes be difficult to find the pods, try a trip to France. Most supermarkets stock at least 6 varieties of pods, go to Auchun and get 12 including Cappuccuno, vienna, espresso, corse, arabica just to name 5.
Wonderful March 28, 2008 Magzy A (Guildford, Surrey United Kingdom) We have just purchased our second Senseo coffee maker. The other one was used daily for nearly 2 years. I felt like a change of colour so I'm passing my old one onto a friend. I couldn't be without one. I don't have instant coffee in the house now. It's just as quick to make it in the Senseo and you get a brilliant cup of coffee everytime. Pity not all shops sell the mug size pods.
No cappuccino! May 27, 2007 jds (Birmingham England) 1 out of 11 found this review helpful
Sorry I didn't realise that this, unlike virtually every other modern machine on the market, can't do cappuccino. My miskate for ordering; I'm now sending back this useless object...
The Senseo ... just the Senseo. Nothing more. March 6, 2007 Colin Day (UK) 5 out of 9 found this review helpful
What I mean is that I ordered this and when it arrived I couldn't wait to try it. But I couldn't you see, as all there was in the box was the machine. No sample pods, no cute little coffee cups as illustrated on the box. Just the machine is included. In my opinion, that is plain, old fashioned, stingy. As I got it for a good price, who am I to complain? But if i'd have payed full price for it, i'd have been rather annoyed. Is a couple of sample pods to try your new purchase too much to ask for crissakes? Expect to make a trip to a major retailer before you get to sample the delights of the Senseo. It would have got 5* had Philips had the decency to include 50p worth of coffee pods with their 60 purchase :(
Why not chocolate pods? February 28, 2007 Canaletto (UK) 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
I love the Senseo Coffee Machine. M husband and I usually use a filter machine if we are both having coffee. However I love the Senseo machine for coffee on my own. It was a Christmas present from my daughter. We bought a machine for my siter in law for Christmas and she and her husband like it too. She managed to get mug pods from, I think Waitrose - where can I get them on line? I live in a very rural area. Also pleeeease can't you make chocolate pods too? Other machine have them and we would both like them.
