If you have a new house and can't be arsed to decorate get a couple of these and save yourself the bother, I have two and they transform magnolia walls. You can choose a colour, adjust the brightness and the coverage to suit any mood, all with a neat remote control. Or, you can set the philips lamp to run through the full spectrum of colours, if you have two of them you can set them off at diferent points and mix the colours or you can sync them together.
