I don't normally post reviews but after my petrol mower died respectably of extreme old age I had to use a Flymo, or dragmo, which took forever and just left a scruffy mess of the lawn with grass cuttings all over the flower beds and paths. Based on the reviews here I ordered the Bosch on Sunday, it arrived today, and assembled very easily. Straight into the garden with it and I am delighted. It does cut to the edge, it cuts very neatly and is light and easy to handle. It picks up all the grass and just left me disappointed when I ran out of grass to cut! Roll on next week!

Bought this lawnmower last week. Motor is very powerful, cuts long wet grass without to much trouble. Even has a small roller on the back to give striped effect!
Only complaint is that the grass box / flap did not fit correctly. Called Bosch who are going to replace the part free of charge. Apparently this is has happened on quite a few these models. Otherwise an excellent product.

I had had a Flymo for 3 years and was fed up with the poor quality of cut, the difficulty of handling it especially on slopes, the difficulty of carrying it through the garage to the front and that a good portion of the grass didn't find its way into the box but was re-distributed over the garden. So I bought a Bosch Rotak 36 from Amazon. It arrived on the morning promised and was easy to assemble (including the grass box). It is light and has a convenient carrying handle. It is easy to use. The biggest benefit is the quality of the cut. My lawns look professional for the first time in years and it does cut right to the edge as promised. Wonderful. The only disadvantage is that I have to make more trips to the compost heap with the cuttings as it cuts and collects far more than the Flymo ever did... Fully recommended.

This is a great mower i had a flymo before (no grassbox collector) which was the main reason to get a new mower.Spoke to a few people about this model and i have to say i am very pleased with it.It cuts great, a good selection of height adjustments (7 in all) and even has a roller for lines.This mower also cuts right to the edge almost elimanating the need for a strimmer (but not quite).So in all a great all rounder ,light,easy to assemble,easy to use,cuts great and leaves the lawn looking like a pro has done it.

Huge thanks for all those reviews I read on this lawnmower. I too was fed up with having to purchase a new lawnmower every few years - grassbox inadequate and spewing grass everywhere, broken blades, burnt out motors, broken handle. It arrived from Amazon very promptly, my husband used it and was very impressed, I used it at the weekend and its brilliant. Light and easy to carry, it made nice lines on our lawn, the grassbox trapped ALL the grass cuttings and it cut the long grass effortlessly. I like the fact the electric cable is attached and I wound it round the handle (altho the handle could do with something to secure the cable when not in use). My only reservation is the plastic body, so Im going to make sure I really look after this one as it cuts so beautifully. Thanks also to Amazon for all the product info which helped us make our decision.
