Great!? June 13, 2008 adg (UK) I'm surprised by all the negative reviews....largely centering around the position of the temperature button. My wife is using her 2nd of these irons (1st died after about 3 years) and after trying many others she loves this one. The button positioning is actually quite handy as it is very quick & simple to adjust temperature. And we've had no problems with pressing it accidentally, perhaps it depends on hand size? Who knows, but in our opinion it's a great iron!
They don't last. June 1, 2008 B. Jones (UK) Had one of these and it worked fine for 14 months, but as other reviewers state you cannot help but inadvertently change the temp setting with your hand because of where it is positioned. Poor design. However iron was only 14 months old when whilst using it there was electrical flashes and smoke from the base before it expired. I wont be purchasing another Russell Hobbs iron.
Great looking, but not very long lasting May 29, 2008 Mrs. Katie Dawson (UK) Great, a reasonably priced iron and good looking, lightweight and digital! Cool! Erm, NO - it broke after a year, and as the previous review said, you do press the buttons inadvertantly when you are ironing. Avoid.

Very poor. When I am ironing I keep pressing the temp button asit is on handle where you hold. Bad design. I bought in Nov 2006 and it has now stopped working in Aug 2007
