Good handy mixer May 20, 2008 Pisho (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my wife. she really likes it..now i am having cakes every other day ..the only negative point so far is the weight of this machine but otherwise very handy and easy to use.
Superb! April 23, 2008 V. Kesaraju 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have had this for more than a year now and used it on numerous occasions for making cakes.I bake a lot as well as cook regularly, so I donot know what I would have done without this. The dough hooks are very good. The beaters as well as the whisk all do the job perfectly.I have made cakes, icings, cookies, breads, what not with this one.The speeds are good and though it is a bit wieghty to hold as another reviewer said,it is not like too heavy nor is it too flimsy.I like the look of it too, very neat and classy look.I would definitely recommend this.
one small fault April 8, 2008 Gran (uk) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am very pleased with this product. It has more power than my old Kenwood and the extra attachments are a bonus. I had no problem with either strange smell or weight. The one difficulty I have is in ejecting the blades, as I have arthritic hands, the button is extremely hard to push
disappointing February 18, 2008 J. Peeris (London, England) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
this mixer is not what I expected. the air vents for the motor are in the front. this is a major design flaw. my old one which worked for ages had the vents in the back and I never thought twice about it. but when this one gets going and stuff goes everywhere it goes in those vents too. beware. this can damage the turning mechanism and now mine makes a really funny noise. I'm just waiting for it to pack itself up and go home. the lack of control between speeds is an issue. there is really fast, really faster and super really faster. personally as a regular cook and fanatical baker this is not the right model for me. but given the funny screeching noise it is making just a few months after purchase, it doesn't sound like it will be the wrong one for long. hope this helps!
Excellent Mixer February 10, 2008 Ela M 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Powerful, quiet, comes with standard mixers, dough hooks and baloon whisk attachments. A pleasure to use.
