Really happy August 5, 2008 M. Wilson-Howard 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have to say I'm really surprised by the negative reviews on here, because I bought this sandwich toaster because it looked nice and modern - a perfect replacement for my ever-reliable but now ancient breville - and have been overjoyed with it! Its been great at toasting my mad and crazy combinations, a little butter on the outside of the bread does wonders by the way! Thank god for the pop out plates as well - I used to hate cleaning my old one! Well, I love it, cheers Breville!
Toasted sandwich? Soggy bread! June 18, 2008 Z. Totty 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have recently bought this machine and thought I was doing something wrong until I read the other reviews on here. The instructions say that it should take 4 mins to cook. I leave mine in for approx 20 mins because all I get is a soggy mess. Even after 20 mins it is pale and soggy but after leaving it sat on the side for a few mins it goes a little crispier. A total waste of money!
Soggy toasties! April 22, 2008 Mrs. M. Collins (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For the first few months of using my sandwich toaster it was fine but all I can get now is a soggy mess - I end up having to put them under the grill (If I can manage to rescue them without breaking up) All in all a waste of money.
NAFF NAFF January 17, 2008 Mr. T. A. Grimshaw (Leeds, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this toaster to replace a old one that toasted just one sandwich at a time. The sandwich's never go crisp or brown no matter what type of bread i use. In a word the "toasted" sandwich's are NAFF!! Don't buy this product.
