I bought my first duvet cover on the basis that I needed one in a hurry and it was so cheap that I wouldn't feel bad if it wasn't very good. Close inspection showed a tiny flaw here or there but not noticeable if you're not looking for them.
Six months on the cover and pillowcases wash well, can be put on without ironing and look better than a much more expensive set I own. As a result I am about to buy more.
