Product Description
High grade stainless steel and a dash of aluminium are the ingredients for the 3-ply stainless steel range. The technically advanced 3-ply metal sandwich uses an aluminium core to spread the heat evenly, so there are no hotspots. Le Creuset 3-ply is equally at home on gas or electric hobs and has been designed to work brilliantly on induction hobs too.

Bought this set a few weeks ago. Absolutely love them. Retain heat very well. They do not need high heat to cook therefore may say some money by using this! They have similar characteristics to the le cresuet cast iron set but these are easier to use because they are lighter. I would recommend this to anyone. I can't wait to get my hands on the tri-ply frying wok/pan.

I have used a variety of pans over the years, from lightweight Aluminium through Stainless Steel and even the good old heavy Cast Iron.
I have found that these pans over the best of all worlds; they are light enough (although not "light wieght") to use for both my wife and I; they spread and retain the heat superbly, no hotspots for the food to stick and burn on to (even scrambled eggs don't stick horribly); and they come clean beautifully too.
I have only used them on a ceramic hob so I can't comment on their use on Gas though.

This kit is excellent , really sturdy as you'd expect from Le Creuset and with great heat distribution from simmer to boil . They look great too !

The I ordered was delivered promptly and now that my induction hob has been installed [finally], they perofrm and look great. I'm aware of the discolouring issue but haven't experienced any of this as yet.
So far, so good. Good product from a reputable company.

Typical high quality product from Le Creuset. The pans are WAY lighter than their cast iron counterparts but they are NOT light, probably not suitable if you're a bit of a weakling! If you are reasonably strong and love good quality, well made, beautiful products this is a GREAT deal. The non-stick frying pan is the best I have ever used and the saucepans are a good range of useful sizes. The only slightly negative thing I can say is - they do discolour slightly if used on a gas hob. The saucepans have very even heat distribution and they retain their heat much longer than normal metal saucepans. All in all I'd highly recommend them!
