Good While it lasted September 8, 2008 A. Zahir The Grill and Griddle worked fine for a few minutes, then the griddle seemed to loose heat.Found out afterwards it just wouldn't turn on. The grill worked fine...Shame, but returning it now to get a more reliable make.
A great combination July 28, 2008 P. Lymn (Bristol, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great addition to our kitchen (and camping equipment). A great combination of the now infamous grill with the added bonus of a great griddle. Each can be switched on or off and temperature controlled independently and has plenty of room to make a meal for four - our particular favourite being chicken fajitas (chicken on the grill, onions, peppers and spices on the griddle) It's easy to use and clean, it cooks meat beautifully and has had admiring looks and comments from all who have seen it. It has really come into its own for us when camping - in this modern age of electric hook-up for tents as well as caravans we can now cook a much wider range of dishes. For 35, delivered free by Amazon within a couple of days, you can't go wrong!
I'm going to cook all the food! January 17, 2008 Streetcar (N/A) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
What can I say about the George that hasnt been said already? I love it! You can use the grill side of it to cook thick meats like burgers or steaks and then use the griddle side to cook stuff like bacon, eggs, veg. Everything cooks fast and even and it is so much less hassle than using a grill or pan on your cooker. I used to use my cooker grill to make bacon but it took time to heat up and cook, the griddle heats up very quickly and what I really like is that I can put bacon on it that has not been trimmed and the fat just falls off! Highly recommended, most of the other George Foreman grills do not have a griddle, I would highly recommend getting a grill/griddle combination for the versatility!
