in the kitchen.
On the surface this certainly is a very impressive product and warrants the highly rated reviews, which are certainly applicable with regard to the ease of using and dismantling/cleaning and the safety features, including the collapsible handle on the frying basket for neat storage when not in use.
However, I also think it is worth mentioning that the internal frying basket measurements are:-
c 18.5 cm square/8 cm deep

A good buy, it has a large frying basket that holds 1.2kg of fresh chips or 1.00kg of frozen.Variable tempreture control and timer. It is quite a large square fryer which measures aprox 29cm W, 29cm D, 27cm H which could be a downfall it you have limited space.The permanant filter is good the following morning after using the fryer I couldn't smell chips on entering the kitchen.The viewing window isn't much use as it steams up so you have to lift the lid up and have a quick peek but I don't think thats anything to worry about.Easy to dismantle and clean. *****

Excellent the best I have owned very efficient thermostat hope it lasts,Reaches cooking temperature quickly.Golden chips in ten minutes dead.Chips are unfarely treated by so called food experts.Cooked in Crisp & dry with all the goodness sealed in including vital folic acid,with no fat I maintain this is an important part of a healthy diet.The unit is very clean to use ,the filter is very efficient,the riser on this model works well no need to open until ready to serve.The viewer in the lid stays clear so you can see whats going on.I just cannot find fault with this one,well done KENWOOD a winner.

The problem with many chip pans is that they are messy, smelly, and are ever SO difficult to clean. But this one is different:
1. After 6 uses, it somehow remains respectably clean.
2. The permanent filter does a great job of reducing the odour.
3. It can be quickly and easily disassembled into 4 parts (bowl, lid, basket, electrics). The bowl, lid and basket can all be put into the dishwasher.
It's an excellent product.
