I bought this for my mum and took it abroad. Last time when I visited her, as I held it the buttom just fell. I dont know how that happened but it was broken and couldnt fix it. I dont know about the guarentee. I will check it but too much hassle! This is when I hate buying staff from internet.

100% a top class product. If you buy this you will never go back to the old style salt and pepper mills. A bargain too.
