Could be better July 7, 2008 Miranda Woodworth (Chester, England) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I was really excited about this item but the holder is quite cheap looking. It's hollow plastic and you can see the join seam going round it's edge. The knife protectors are also really cheap looking, given the high price they could have done better. That said, I do love it and am still glad I have it but think it's overpriced.
Save your money February 2, 2008 Grumpy Gus 22 out of 23 found this review helpful
The holder has a cheap and plastic feel. The knives themselves are the first time I've ever seen stainless steel go rusty! Avoid making the same mistake I did.
Disappointing - way too large! January 19, 2008 Spaceminkey (London, UK) 22 out of 23 found this review helpful
This looks great in the picture, but sadly it is way too big for the kitchen. I was so excited to get it, but it's fairly cheap plastic body and the thing swamped the kettle toaster, blender, and was only narrowly smaller than bread maker! Nice idea, wonderful in a massive kitchen maybe, but for your average joe kitchen - avoid!
