Recommend them, although the review below says they break but that's probably because he didn't slightly warm the glass first, although it's safety glass, like any glass, quick temperature changes can cause the glass to shatter!
They look great and are much better than the cafetiere I bought from another shop.

I had loved Bodum coffee press makers for years, but last month I was making coffee with mine, and the beaker ruptured as I pressed the plunger down, splattering hot coffee and broken glass all over me and my kitchen. The skin on my leg immediately blistered and peeled off from the hot coffee, and I had scalds all over my leg. The scalding took a couple of weeks to heal over the scabs, and the marks still remain.
I wrote to Bodum of the incident and they ignored me.
Definitely do not buy the glass Bodum coffee makers if you have any concern for your own safety.
