Designed by Sam Hecht the knife has a melamine handle that is 'cool' to the touch, is white and resilient. The blade is made from a high carbon stainless steel that is a combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. The process of production is precision forging, heat treating (RockwellC53 to C56 degrees), precision grinding and hand honing. Finally, a fine glaze is applied. All this adds up to one of the most sophisticated combinations of modern technology with the experience of Sheffield craftsmanship. Blade length is 85mm
