worst buy ever August 11, 2008 Sully (England) I fully agree with other comments about this range. We had a need to replace our pans after more than 20 years of Meyer Tensyl products - we went to buy direct replacements, but were tempted by the shiny Tefal goods. We bought the set plus a few bits. The large pan was the first to fail. Used only to boil some potatoes a few times and the non stick flaked off. I contacted customer service (an oxymoron for Tefal) and after listening to the girl tell me it was all my fault, without even seeing them, I took them back to the retailer who replaced the pan. Well what do you know a few months down the line and it fails again. Yesterday a piece the size of a 10p lifted from the centre of the large frying pan. I will be buying a good hard adonised Meyer (less the non stick) and consign this pile of c*** to the recycle centre. DON'T BUY THIS RUBBISH is my suggestion
wasteof money May 26, 2008 Alyson Poulson (buckinghamshire) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We were given the entire set as a wedding present 18 months ago. The insides have now all perished and down to the metal. I would never recommend them. We were also given the utensils which too were awful. Jamie needs to check the quality of what he puts his name to.
Poor quality pans February 2, 2008 Mrs. Kim Hallett (Oxford) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Would agree with the previous reviewer. We've used the dishwasher on ours, the instructions say this is ok, net result is they look terrible and through to the metal. Wouldn't buy these again.
You are paying for the name January 21, 2008 J. Lambert (Hertfordshire) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
These saucepans are rubbish. First few washes were fine but now we've had them a year we are about to chuck them. The actual non-stick part is reasonable but not good but the exterior part of the pan looks so old with all the paint missing and we have never dishwashered them. We also bought some Circulon pans at the same time and these have been used as much if not more the the Tefal-Jamie Oliver ones and they still look brand new. The Jamie Oliver pans look great but believe me you are paying for the name.
